As per the report by GizChina, a Chinese tech portal, Elephone revealed its mysterious smartphone in the Global Source Mobile Electronics Fair that was held in Hong Kong recently. During the fair Elephone flaunted its exclusive flagship smartphones which was available in two variants. One of them runs on Android 5.0 and it will be shipped in May whereas the other one has a dual boot facility wherein users can use both the Android 5.0 as well as Windows 10 OS, however this will be shipped probably in June once the Windows 10 OS has been released. In both the variants the hardware packed will be same which is expected to be sophisticated and of latest technology. Lets take a quick look of the impressive specs which the phone flaunts:
Display: Elephone’s new phone proclaims to have a “2K” display. The screen will be 5.5-inch 2K display with 2560 x 1440 resolution. Processor: The Android variant will be packed with 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MTK6795 . The dual OS variant will be packed with quad-core Intel chipset. Both the variants be further backed with 4 GB RAM. The handset also has a finger print scanner which aids in the touch ID fingerprint security. Camera: The Android smartphone will have 21-megapixel Sony IMX 230 shooter on the rear end. The dual-boot version will have a 20.7-megapixel sensor. There are no details regarding the front camera as of now. Battery: The phones will have 3,800 mAh battery. Lookwise: As per the report it is a slim phone with narrow bezels and also with alloy body and golden metallic finish.
Elephone has not revealed the “name” and the price tags of their new flagships. Also it seems Elephone for the first time has used Intel processor in the phone however not much has been revealed about the same. Also it will be the first time that a smartphone will have dual booting feature and a 2K display for Windows 10 OS phone. So for all the smartphone freaks out there……….as Windows 10 can work across any platform the dual boot definitely seems to be an interesting phone for all the Android and desktop users.
